Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah attended alongside Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan joined the discussions as well. Senior representatives from Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan completed the wider regional group assembled for the talks.

Officials focused on security, stability and development across the Middle East. They also reviewed ways to strengthen international cooperation on regional and global challenges. Sheikh Abdullah said the UAE supports initiatives that promote de-escalation and sustainable peace. He also linked regional stability with economic growth and broader prosperity. The discussions reflected several issues facing governments at the UN gathering, where leaders use formal sessions and separate meetings to address security, development and diplomatic cooperation.

Sheikh Abdullah also addressed relations between the UAE and the United States during the meeting. He highlighted cooperation built around shared interests, mutual respect and long-standing ties. The two countries work together across economic, political and development sectors. Sheikh Abdullah also acknowledged Trump’s efforts related to security, peace and development in the Middle East. The talks also covered stronger multilateral cooperation among governments dealing with regional and international challenges. Participants discussed measures supporting peace, development and economic stability in the Middle East. The meeting gave officials another forum for direct exchanges outside the main UN sessions. Such meetings formed part of the broader diplomatic calendar in New York. Governments also held separate bilateral talks on trade, security, investment, development and political issues during the General Assembly period.
